About the event
Enjoy this incredible workshop experience built on the very diverse selection of movement styles that you'll find in the Golden Nutcracker! You can take classes in jazz, modern, and contemporary techniques or explore African, Liturgical and Caribbean movement. You can even show your style in Hip-Hop and Acro.
It all leads to the Golden Nutcracker auditions on August 9th & 16th. August 9th for dancers en pointe and ages 13 & up. The one on the 16th will host dancers 5-12. Come ready to audition in all the styles that you played with in the workshop.
We'll announce character parts on Sunday, August 24th at the LaVilla School of the Arts
Finally, share your love of all things dance. We'll be performing our Nutcracker early in the Holiday season. So gear up for The Golden Nutcracker concerts on...
